Lisa Gannaway Photography

Our photographer Lisa Gannaway started her career working in photo-journalism. She has an extensive background in television broadcast news, working for top networks including CBS, ABC, FOX & ESPN. In addition to practical experience, Lisa also has formal education in photography, and majored in Communications at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale.

 

An Illinois native, Lisa married and followed her husband to Indiana in 1997 and began working for a reputable video production company as their wedding coordinator. During her time there, she helped produce and edit over 300 weddings videos, personally shooting over 100 of them. She worked with each and every bride individually, covering all the details of their wedding to assure a complete and quality video package.

 

In 2004 she turned her attention to her passion, photography and soon opened up her own studio. She stayed extremely busy covering hundreds of weddings, business events, family portraits, and her favorite, high school seniors. Due to an ever demanding schedule, she decided to close the studio after 7 years so she could focus on raising her two young children. Now that her kids are getting older she is back doing what she loves, photography. This time around her focus will be specializing on high school seniors.
